Each one of us has worked in the creation and delivery of programs with a very diverse population Our services have been utilized mainly by Fortune 500 companies, but we have worked within the areas of non-profit and educational organizations as well.. We have, also, brought, succesfully, our work outside the United States, helping US companies working in quite different environments.
In our professional life, we have assisted other governments in dealing with the outside world in these particular times of a shrinking globe. Our services have included creating an effective dialogue between the emerging and the developed world facing the challenges of different systems and , at times, different perceptions of each other,
One of the things we all have in common is the influence on us from Paulo Freire, the great Brazilian educator, which is one of the important factors that brought us together as friends and as a team. Freire has been one of the most influential and innovative professionals in the field of educationj and community development. His work is well known in the American continent, Switzerland, Sweden and other countries in Europe.

Carlos Alberto Barbier.
Carlos has worked with all kinds of populations as well as all ages. His focus has been, however, Latinos and youth for whom he has created and developed several innovative approaches and programs.
During his work in Sweden part of his responsibilities was to faciitate the transition of refugees from many nations into the Swedish society. He also assisted authorities to deal with this populations in a cultural competent manner.
Carlos additional strong side is public speaking.
Laura Kangas
Laura's areas of expertise are so many that it is difficult to put them all in a few words, but one of her most impressive talents is the development of programs and strategies to deal with a diverse work force.
Laura is an outstanding teacher and is and has been in the faculty of several educational institutions.

Clients include Native American Tribes and Tribal organizations, major corporations, non-profit organizations, schools, and State and Federal..government agencies.
